The project consisted of the construction of a corporeal installed on a scaffold. The corporeal in question was ordered by VSA COMMUNICACIÓN, to present the launch of a new “open easy” bottle cap of the San Miguel beer brand. It is mounted for a month on the scaffolding of the works that are being conducted in the building located in the Francesc Macià square with Urgell street.
The corporeal, with dimensions 12.30 m high and 3.58m wide, reproduces to scale beer bottle with the new cap object of the campaign. The cap, 160cm in diameter, is equipped with an automatic mechanism that opens and closes it.
It is manufactured with an interior aluminum structure lined with a painted fiberglass laminate that gives it the final shape. The use of the aluminum structure is justified by the need to reduce the structure’s weight, which hangs from the existing scaffolding to the facade.
The total weight of the installation will be 925 kg. Five levels of fasteners will be placed on the scaffold, so that each level does not exceed 200 kg of overload and each point holds a maximum of 30 kg.
